Have you ever wondered why tapas are so famous in Spain?
Tapas are a big part of Spanish culture, the term refers to small plates of food that are usually accompanied by a drink mainly a glass of wine.

Tapas are a social way of life, forget about individual food plates, tapas will be brought to your table in a common plate and are shared by everyone. You might get lucky and get your own fork, but depending on the tapa you´ll most likely just use your fingers, bread or a toothpick to eat your food. This is quite surprising to foreigners arriving in Spain for the first time, but sharing is the true nature of tapas.

In some bars and restaurants in Spain and across the globe, tapas have evolved into a more sophisticated cuisine. Tapas can be combined to make a full meal.

How to prepare a lovely tray of Spanish tapas? It’s very easy.  Open the package of sliced chorizo, ham and lomo and put them al in a row in the left hand side of the tray. Cut some thin slices of u-shapes chorizo and salchichon and put them in the right hand side of the tray. In the middle of it, we will put some square pieces of tortilla previously heated as it is explained in the instructions at the back of the packaging. Add some pieces of Spanish cured cheese to make the whole experience better and enjoy it with a Spanish glass of wine.
